Tower
redux on Cudjoe Key
Well, well, well. So the
Cudjoe Tower Monster has many heads.
I was just sitting down
to write this letter Saturday morning when I read The Citizen editorial.
You must be reading the minds of many of us here in the Lower Keys.
Watch now for more smoke and mirrors and attempts at intimidation as
they try to ram this 960-foot white elephant down our throats.
They have invested in
"scarified land," but this project would trespass far outside their
property.
The last time around, the
county commission heard their constituents and acted on our behalf. We
expect them to continue to support opposition to the tower.
If this Massachusetts
outfit wants to build a 960-foot monstrosity in a beautiful oceanfront
location near a wildlife preserve, they should try Cape Cod.
