Keys? Visit Expo 2005 and meet the individuals who make it their job to
stay on top of the issues. Last Stand directors and other
dedicated citizens will be on hand to answer your questions and fill you
in on the latest developments regarding:

The format for the event will be
for Last Stand "champions" on the various topics to be
available, at various locations in the lovely
surroundings of the Key West Garden Club (West Martello
Tower, next to Higgs Beach), for face-to-face
discussions on the issues and on Last Stand's positions
on them, with the goal of figuring how best for
individuals to make a difference. You can help!

Other like-minded environmental
and community groups, including Key West Audubon, Reef Relief, and Key
West Garden Club will have space at the event, to promote awareness of
their programs.
All
Last Stand members as well as the general public are invited.
Yes, there will be refreshments, and the event is FREE.

The bicycle pictured here, a
bejeweled (bebeaded?), white-sidewalled, fat-tired,
coaster brake, one-speed, unisex-frame, brand-new Huffy,
generously donated by a Last Stand member, will be
raffled off. Whether for stylish transportation
around the island, or as a work of art (or both), this
bike will be the pride of its lucky winner. Check
out the beadwork! |
